DCA conducts training in different formats for different needs and age group

DCA conducts training in different formats for different needs and age group

1. 10 Min Mobilization

  • Suitable for CG/ bible study groups
  • Only 10 min – reading a Bible verse, watch a video and pray together for the refugee
  • Weekly or biweekly for 6 months to 1 year

2. Youth Training

  • Suitable for 15-30 years old
  • 2-3 hours with interactive activities
  • Creative diaspora ice-breakers
  • Can be a mission activity in Youth fellowship

3. Online Self Paced + Cohort

  • Single course or a series of courses
  • Each course is about 2 months (once/week)
  • Self-learning with notes, videos, and quizzes
  • Learn together in mini cohort.

4. Weekend Training

  • 3 hours, 6 hours, or 9 hours (Fri / Sat/ Sun)
  • Customized topics to church needs
  • Suitable for mission month/workshop
  • Includes Sunday mission preaching (optional)

5. Campus Student Volunteering

  • Volunteering 1-2 weeks during semester breaks (accommodation is provided)
  • Volunteering 1-2 hours once a month over a period of 3-5 months during the semester study
  • Certificate of Voluntary Service on completion

6. Fresh Graduate Volunteering

  • For fresh graduates to volunteer for 1-3 months
  • Accommodation and allowance are provided
  • Training, coaching, and mentoring are provided
  • Certificate of Voluntary Service on completion

7. Coaching & Mentoring

  • For DCA students and church leaders
  • Coaches and mentors are field practitioners
  • For life performance, mission direction and preparation etc.

8. Instructor/Facilitator Training

  • The training is for mission workers/ volunteers who are already serving the diaspora community
  • To co-teach and facilitate training at different regions in Malaysia
